Joe spends far too much time trying to make something work right without really thinking about why it's important. He'll spend far too long playing with some bit of code because it isn't exactly the way he wants it, only to abandon it completely when it finally is working correctly. He has an unhealthy interest in regular expressions which is the major appeal of perl programming for him, though he's inexplicably scornful of any interpreted languages. Aside from that, he's also a movie fiend and can often be found tinkering with some regex while watching a movie. (This probably goes a long way to explaining some of his questions here.) One of his favorites is Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead, which hopefully explains a bit about his nickname. Oh, and he hates writing anything that resembles an autobiography. |
