Shorter code is nearly always clearer code, true. What I'm saying though, is I always code with readability as my main priority (after making it work, of course) - but then I very rarely have to do any low-level, speed intensive code. As for the 'two weeks notice' - that's pretty much how it happened :) willdooUK --------------
