Question on chart module

benlaw has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi monks,

I am creating some chart using "area", "line" , and "bar" chart, and search module for it, it seems google::chart, swf::chart are quite pretty chart module .

I found google need to access internet to archieve graph and swf::chart seems not easy to create even I copy the example. .. is there any other offline chart module you are using is pretty too ?

    Although I've never used it myself, I believe that GD::Graph is the module that's generally recommended for this type of task.

    I've had success with Chart, but it does seem a little fussy about parameters and such. I'll add some sample code to this later.
