ya, i used mech->success for the form i assumed that everything else was working fine now ill do the same for all the get functions, but can u help me out to figure out why the code works from the terminal and not from the web server..i am really not understanding this

Most likely you are using different versions of WWW::Mechanize in the console and the webserver, or the user that the webserver is configured to run under does not have the permissions to access network resources.	[reply]

i think you are correct about my webserver not having access to network...i am using apache, localhost programming, ill try giving my webserver permissions and see, for the script is not fetching the first get also, so you are correct, thanks a ton	[reply]

you were correct about the web document not being fetched, but i am using httpd services and i am not sure but i guess we dont have to give any special privlages for apache to access the network, i may be wrong, and thanks for the help	[reply]
