You are looking at VIKP, a tetrapeptide derived from Amaranth seed proteins. This peptide is thought to be released to the bloodstream upon protein digestion. There it interacts with one of the main regulators of systemic blood pressure, significantly reducing hypertension levels. In discovering this, Perl played a major part. It served as the main workhorse of a long and thorough search among hundreds of peptide candidates. It did so humbly and efficiently, forgiving my lack of style or language theoretical background. As we continue to understand the benefits of the food we eat, we'll live longer, healthier lifes. As we continue to understand ourselves, we'll have better, more powerful tools. I think Larry is a pioneer in achieving that. |
