Did you actually get that much stuff on the page? The discussion on Newest Nodes length limit seems to imply this was already throttled. Maybe it said it would show you six months of stuff and then didn't?

    Indeed, I just set my mark to somewhere in 2005 and it only took several seconds for the page to load and it only included nodes going back to the end of last November (60 days, yes 2008).

    The page did note "Skipping huge list of notes" but otherwise gave no clear indication that it wasn't actually doing as it said, "Showing nodes created since 2005‑11‑21 ...".

    So whoever in pmdev can feel free to add some type of notice for this situation. Otherwise, it worked quite well and as designed.
