I'm pretty sure these guys are reasonable men and we can just point them to the What nodes should/should not be FrontPaged? and ask to correct their behavior. I don't think it make sense to complicate things with the technical solution.

    One would hope so, yes.  But considering in particular ree's past behavior (I'm thinking of this weird reposting questions from stackoverflow.com thingie just a couple of weeks ago), I'm not all that sure... :)

      Actually, I draw the opposite conclusion from that information. If someone has previously "transgressed" and adjusted their behaviour when asked, then it's not unreasonable to hope that they will do the same thing the next time an issue is brought to their attention.
