A better penance might be to rewrite MW's formmail.pl so that it's secure. Alternatively, write a tutorial showing how to convert a script based on formmail to one using CGI.pm, MIME::Lite, and other appropriate modules. As far as the rest of it goes, I'd rather we focused on moving forward and doing better in the future. We've all made mistakes. --f
