I always had the suspicion that talking about emacs in the monastery is considered OT by the majority ...Yes... not exactly "off-topic", but it's a borderline case. I think there's social pressure against going too far into emacs/perl issues if you're on a forum that's dedicated to just one or the other... So I'm going to see if I can get a cross-over forum going for people who want to geek out about both. We will see how it goes...
