Y'know, sometimes, it makes a heckuva lot more sense to change yourself rather than the world. The Stoics seemed to say that's always the way it should go. But let's not be extremists. Sometimes, you should change the world to conform to your desires, but often enough, you should adjust your desires to conform to what the world is going to give you.
