What exactly constitutes activity?

As just having a page open in a browser does not seem to be sufficient to keep a user showing in both "Other Users" and therefore showing on the map.

What exactly constitutes activity? Requesting a page from the server. As the HTTP protocol is stateless, the server simply cannot tell whether you've kept the page open in the browser after having fetched it.	[reply]
