<p>The command <i>sudo perl -MCPAN -e 'install Module::Name'</i> usually finds and installs the CPAN module I want on my Mac/Perl 5.10 installation.
</p><p>
I wish to download and install the fp module at <a href ="http://search.cpan.org/~stevan/fp-0.03/lib/fp.pm">http://search.cpan.org/~stevan/fp-0.03/lib/fp.pm</a>. The source code identifies this module as being named fp.
</p><p>
But when I run from the command line:
</p><blockquote><i>sudo perl -MCPAN -e 'install fp'</i></blockquote>
<p>
I get the following error:
</p><blockquote>
Warning: Cannot install fp, don't know what it is.
</blockquote><p>
The error message tells me to us "i /fp/" but it doesn't give any examples of how to do that from the command line. Can anybody help?
