So, during high school, I had an 8088 processor on an old IBM machine (this was 1995 by the way, so it was a bit out dated.)
I managed to frag it. (I, being the dense one, didnt know what the . and the .. directories were in DOS, so I tried deleting them. ooops...heh).
Fast forward 3 years. 1998, I graduate, nowhere near the top of my class.. (another ooops...)
Travel to Utah State University (yet another ooops) for aerospace engineering. Figure out within a week that I dont want to do that, so switch to Computer Science.
Move back to Colorado, and go to Colorado State. Fast forward to now. Internship, motorcycle, bank, and the freedom to learn PERL!!!!
I have the camel, but I want MORE!
what other books are good for this sort of thing? I have a heavy java background, because that's what I started programming in, and that's what I have to use at work for most things. but, I digress... let me know what I need to read!
Reccomendations (from you to me): Perl Cookbook |
