      Constant folding is not involved in his obfu, but his obfu uses exploits a bug of the same class as the one being discussed: A product of the source code is used as a proxy for the original source code, and it's not up to the job.
        I was referring to "Impossible" rather than "constant-folding" actually (in the spirit of the same response to "Inconceivable" in the film). Thanks for the explanation, though. It's quite helpful to the thread, where I was simply being humorous with the point that little is impossible when it comes to perl (or Perl, for that matter).
