If you were an intern and told you should perform an appendectomy, would you expect to have to look up how on the internet?

Programming is more complex than most surgery.

Accepting tasks for which you are not equipped is foolish. Being allocated tasks for which you are not equipped is bordering on criminal.

Such a lavish analogy to attempt to prove your point. I hardly know of a surgeon who would waste the time offering the solution you offered, which added zero value. The task was small. In the medical world it might be the equivalent of putting on a band-aid. And you want me to go to Johns-Hopkins for training. Laughable.

    Get over yourself.

The task was small.... the equivalent of putting on a band-aid.

And you needed to ask for help. I guess that says more about you than me.
