Try some of these, from a related "here" that's slightly different. The previous "here" doesn't provide what OP sought; bear wittness, from the docs:

"At present only read operations are supported"

In any case, I would not like having someone writing (re-writing?) my calendar by email, without my knowledge or intervention.

    Hey, is it possible to block other people's calendar by just sending the email? The appointment I would like to send is just like a reminder. I have seen people sending that kind of email to my email by using outlook. It works but I am trying to implement that in Perl. Any idea on that?
