Ok, I added it back in. It's just another blog aggregator, and I'd rather have one link too many than one link too few. What I don't like about that page is that it's very opaque wrt what blogs it's aggregating.

Opaque in what way? On the RHS of the page there is a column containing the list of aggregated blogs.

      (A) It isn't at all obvious that the big column in the middle is an aggregation of blogs (let alone "news"); and (B) it's even less obvious that the list of links on the right is the set of blogs being aggregated. Nowhere is either fact stated. It's not even obvious that the list on the right is links to blogs. You'd have to click on one (or more) to deduce that. Seeking some kind of supporting documentation, I clicked on Learn about the program. Ok, I learned that "Your blogs will be aggregated" on the site. Well, that's something, but it's very far from revelatory.

I ask you to step back, clear your mind, and look at that page with the eyes of a newcomer. (1) What do you suppose you're looking at? (The page itself doesn't say!); (2) Does it look conspicuously like a resource useful to one wishing to answer the question "What's new in the world of Perl?" I can tell you from first-hand experience that (1) o_O and (2) not really, no.

It looks like the first part of the title is usually the site the news item comes from and news items link to said site. It doesn't explicitly advertise that it is a news aggregator, but looking over the list of news items should make that more obvious.
