Blinking horror

Today I opened PM and found blinking moving text on top of the page. I don't know what it is about, cause it's blinking and moving, so I can't read it, but it is certainly a pain for my eyes. I swear I didn't consume any special substances recently.

Go to your User Settings. There, set the "No April Foolery" checkbox then submit. The text will no longer be blinking.

I checked the 'No April Foolery' checkbox and suddenly all nodes that are illegible from the non-use of code tags were fixed. Thanks for the tip!

I suggest you take two asprin and call in the morning if the problem persists.

There is so much stuff on the page, how did you even notice it?

Obviously the OP was around the 'net in the early to mid 90's when the web started growing, and the only thing people used on their sites were animated gifs (kill me, please) and blinking, screaming marquees.

Like he said... horror. You can't undo that kind of psychological torture, so you almost feel it when entering a site before you see it :)
