Perl Ob fu sca tion
Art of the un read a ble
print Perl done for fun

Its a stretch, but it works.

    Not a stretch - that's how I read it initially...

    For the record, a haiku has other forms besides 5-7-5

      Ok, I stand corrected (and humbled).

      I read it thusly:

      Perl Equals Open Paren Obfuscation
      q;Art of the unreadable;Close Paren;
      print :"Perl sub(zero) done for fun"

      What other patterns
      make a haiku a haiku?
      I know not the rules.
        Search the web and you
        Will find Haiku abundant
        With explanations
