gibsonca has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I'm working with an existing older perl script, and while I was able to install, I was not sure how to fix the following error:

#!/usr/local/bin/perl use strict; use warnings; use Tk; use Tk::ProgressBar; use Tk::DateEntry;

Can't locate Tk/ in @INC (@INC contains: C:/Perl/site/lib C:/Perl/lib .) at line 10. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at line 10.

I can comment out this with no ill effects, but on the other hand I was not sure my installation of was perfect.

Windows XP, Perl v5.14.2

    If you want to fix your error, you need to install Tk::DateEntry, which is not part of the Tk distribution. Not all Tk::* modules are part of the Tk distribution; some must be installed separately.

    Please install Tk::DateEntry and use it in your script.
