Hi , Thanks for your response , i was installing the 'pp' module not the PAR::Packer
You don't say :) http://search.cpan.org/perldoc/pp -> http://search.cpan.org/~rschupp/PAR-Packer-1.013/lib/pp.pm
and it failed through CPAN i haven't tried the force option i will probably try that and see if it works.
well, at minimum CPAN (even cpanp ) would know to use dmake
