Haven't heard anything, but have you tried http://metacpan.org ? Has a nicer interface and loads of features that the standard search.cpan.org doesn't have.

I've been using metacpan.org today, but haven't found any way to get it to display a module's DLSIP info. Is there something I'm missing there?

I don't think MetaCPAN has that information directly. There's some extra info in the MetaCPAN Explorer under the Search Distribution box, but I'm not sure it has everything included in DLSIP info and it's in json format. A module is mentioned in This Node (perlmonks) to get the information you need if that's of any use
