I would have hoped that it would be a simple editing operation to remove those packages that had already been installed from the profile file It was unclear to me from the scant information displayed guring the first run whether the packages had been downloaded and installed; or just downloaded to then be installed. Mercifully, most ppms are relatively small and the process runs quite quickly < 10 minutes for close to 300 packages. Certainly a lot faster than rebuilding and installing all the cpan packages I am also transferring over. With the rise and rise of 'Social' network sites: 'Computers are making people easier to use everyday'
