Humanity shall do something... But I bet that humanity will do nothing useful, this is not a new history at all

When Dreissena polymorpha appeared first time on USA, the americans did... nothing.

Now, we, humans, can not fight this simple small mussel creating damages of hundreds of millions of dollars in our water and energy resources. Burning two or three billions more each year.

We can't eliminate it. Government plays with glossy drones in some desert of the world.

Frogs, rabbits, ants, birds, rats, minks, jellyfishes... biological invasions occur just right now every day. Sadly we don't care to much about it, look for aliens and simply wait. Then we put tons of money into the new black hole each year

The stupidest form of life can beat us, and it does all the time.

Title:
Use:  <p> text here (a paragraph) </p>
and:  <code> code here </code>
to format your post; it's "PerlMonks-approved HTML":

  • Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.
  • Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
    <code> <a> <b> <big> <blockquote> <br /> <dd> <dl> <dt> <em> <font> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <hr /> <i> <li> <nbsp> <ol> <p> <small> <strike> <strong> <table> <td> <th> <tr> <tt> <u> <ul>
  • Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
  • Want more info? How to link or How to display code and escape characters are good places to start.
