Thank you very much for posting this!!! My father, a programmer who has lived in Germany for about 20 years, had never heard of Perl before I mentioned it to him. I just forwarded a copy of the article to him, but the Babelfish translation was so rough that I'm unsure of the quality of the article.

tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
