I've got to agree... here here... i mean, there is something
inherently bad about asking an unresearched, off the cuff,
poorly stated question. those are things that can be
helped. Remember, we are all learning and growing here, and
none of us, is an expert in all fields of computer science.
let us not have so much self-depreciating behavior, let us
keep a nurturing environment like we've had since I joined
this community, and let us all remember, at one point, some
30 years ago, some 3 months ago, we were all newbies :)

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
