Fellow monks,
I was trying to explain my idea of a learn&collaboration site to my friends. The most obvious example is PM. But they say: "Cool but very complex..". Like everything, also PM has a beginning. Can you tell me the first idea of PM (errors and improvements)? I'm a PerlMonk since February, and I would like to read a short narration of the history of this community (even with dates, names & places, if you want :-) ), with his first functionalities and features. Maybe there's a link on a PerlMonk personal site that I don't have seen...Thanks to all.

Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).

or How to display code and escape characters
are good places to start.
