This is a really good idea, and I think there are a few more things that could be added also. Such as changing your name and deleting your name. I know that I won't want to be punkkid forever, I like my name, but when I'm older I won't want to refer to myself as a kid. This also would need some limits though, so people aren't doing it all the time. Allowing name changes would probably lower the number of new monks to because people wouldn't need too create new accounts. Deleting your name for those who make an account, use it for a while, and then just leave, but those are just my thoughts. - p u n k k i d

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
