( [id://3333]=superdoc: print w/replies, xml ) Need Help??
I don't know what's going on, but this new server seems not to like me at all.

I have been virtually unable to use this account, though I can log in as perlbot normally. At first it seemed that I could not log on at all, but with experimentation I discovered that lynx would sometimes get through if allowed to try for five minutes or so. I wound up attempting to log in with 8 lynx sessions from various servers... three have allowed me to log in so far... only this one has gotten me far enough to post. This has taken well over an hour... so I have to say, in my experience, this server is "slower". ;-)

Clearly this is not a cookie problem, as others have had; the phenomenon is connected to the account, and must be on the server side. If someone (vroom, maybe) would be kind enough to help me out, I'd much appreciate it. I'm going through CB withdrawl. ;-(

Title:
Use:  <p> text here (a paragraph) </p>
and:  <code> code here </code>
to format your post; it's "PerlMonks-approved HTML":

  • Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.
  • Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
    <code> <a> <b> <big> <blockquote> <br /> <dd> <dl> <dt> <em> <font> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <hr /> <i> <li> <nbsp> <ol> <p> <small> <strike> <strong> <table> <td> <th> <tr> <tt> <u> <ul>
  • Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
  • Want more info? How to link or How to display code and escape characters are good places to start.
