Favorite Regexp Metachar (?!pattern) Well, I count it as one metachar.
Favorite Descriptive Variable Name $blah Blah!
Favorite HERE Doc delimitor EOF But also HTML or SQL when appropriate.
Favorite Filehandle DATA The DATA handle is quite handy at times.
