Thought that you might all be interested in this
news.
There's a second edition of this book due out in a
couple of months. I've exchanged a few emails with the
author and she's made some changes to the book. In
particular:
- Discussion of CGI.pm
- -w and use strict in all code
examples
- Much more importance placed on security aspects
I've seen proofs of many of the chapters in the new
edition and I have to say that it looks a lot
better.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
