juo has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:
I have a question on how to install a package. I have downloaded Storable and I have been unable to install it. First I have tried with make and this seems to be not compatible for Windows platforms. So I looked on this forum and I found to download nmake. I have done that but it also fails to install. Everybody says to use PPM but I cannot use ppm because of Proxy server restrictions. So is their no easier way to get this package just in a zip file. Any other advise.
