It has been quite a while since I put the following lines in my bio:
<!-- location:latitude=34.05.14,longitude=-84.16.05 --> <!-- os:OpenSUSE_10.2 --> <!-- birthday:1965/04/19 -->
and yet, I do not show up on the MonkMap. My OS preference and birthdate show in the monk stats. As far as I can see, the location format is correct. Do you see any mistakes in the location format? or any other reason I would not show up on the MonkMap?

    My guess is that you are indeed on the BigMonkMap. You seem to be here. Perhaps on the overall map your dot is obscured by those of other monks. Your nick starts with A, so perhaps they are plotted in alphabetical order.

    Update: - After thinning the BigMonkMap by days, I still can't see you. Odd.

    Yes, you are there.

    I can also see you quite clearly on Google Earth Monks, which gets its data from tinymicros. Interestingly, one of the closest monks to you is jcwren, who maintains PMStats. If you really want to complain, perhaps you can give a shout out your window and he might hear you ;)

    Darren :)

      As a random aside, google maps now supports loading .kml or .kmz files (just type the URL in as a location), but it doesn't work with yours. If I decompress the .kmz, and recompress it so that the internal filename is doc.kmz, it works.

      Hm, haven't updated my location -- I moved last February!
