Could we perhaps have checkboxes next to the newest nodes listed, so that we could save some of them from "I've seen all of these"? Unless you think that's what I should be using "personal nodes" or "favorite nodes" for, but I figured that's something more permanent...

As this is not first time it occures that the world is round and going round all over and over again, I think it would be nice to separate ideas/ comments regarding the site's functionality and as well those of that underlying "Everything" in "just Another new section;", which could look a bit alike the "code" or the "snippets" sections further split to items like "content", "technique", "logos" and "design" etc., so the above post I would easily find when looking for:
"Perlmonks Page developement"->technique->nodes->checking nodes to keep (or waving flags)
just a spot on it :-)

Yeah... sometimes I want to leave things in the "Newest Nodes" because I figure I'm going to want to check back in on them when they've got a few more posts, but wading through the "new notes" is kinda frustrating.

I guess this is the sort of underlying thing that brought about the earlier node on having a "in thread [blah]" link next to the "new notes"... we're lazy. :)

Or a checkbox "move this node to my personal nodelet, cause I wan't to find it back", so this node stays in your personal nodelet as long as you don't check a checkbox close to each node there, just like with the private messages you've got.
