Are Raku-related posts allowed on PerlMonks?

The short answer is yes! If you see that someone else has posted a [Raku]-related question or meditation here, please do not waste your time and annoy others by complaining about it.

If you have a question or observation pertaining to Raku only, and not Perl 5, you may post here if it suits you. We have had a few very healthy Raku discussions in recent times.

However, PerlMonks remains "officially" about Perl(5) only, and we don't expect that to change. So please take a look at the Raku community page for the more "official" means of communicating with other Raku programmers. Venues include IRC, Discord, blogs, Stack Overflow, and mailing lists.

As far as we know, the Raku community do not have a forum type of web site similar to PerlMonks. Therefore, as a courtesy to Raku programmers who prefer the forum style, PerlMonks will allow Raku-related posts for the foreseeable future. Any such post should have [Raku] prefixed to its title. For example: [Raku] Ranges in array slices

Note: This lenient policy may be changed if either (a) PerlMonks becomes overwhelmed with Raku-related posts, or (b) the Raku community establishes its own forum-style web site.
