Most likely, the version of Perl you're running on Solaris does not match the version from which /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/* was taken. Maybe you have multiple versions of Perl installed on that machine or a weird $ENV{PERL5LIB} setup. Changing things on Windows will not help with errors happening on Solaris.
