OK, spending money via the web is some kind of trouble. Especially when you're in a different country. Thus I'd not only encourage
VSarkiss's idea but go even further: The maintainers of The Monastery might consider signing up for several pay services and maybe there will be a solution for everyone to give what s/he feels to give in a long list of alternatives linked from the
Offering Plate. I know that it is possible to pay from Germany via PayPal but as has been said some people have a strong feeling about that service.
So having several alternatives would help.
