If you need world class Perl training or consulting, drop me a line at ovid@allaroundtheworld.fr. Some companies just bring me in for motivational talks, too. Let me know what you need.

I have technical and personal blogs at ovid.github.io.

I've written the popular book Beginning Perl, focused on learning the Perl skills companies need. I'm also one of the authors of Perl Hacks.

I sat on the Board of Directors of the Perl Foundation for many years, wrote the Test::Harness module that ships with Perl and am the main author of the Corinna project to provide effective OO for the Perl core.

Any original code I post on Perlmonks, unless otherwise noted, is public domain. I offer no warranties and I assume no responsibility for any problems with its use.

My CPAN directory.

If you're curious about the name "Ovid", it's from Publius Ovidius Naso, better known as Ovid. He's one of my favorite poets and the translations by Peter Greene are incredible.
