how do I remove a user or a group from a given directory?

blackadder has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I have used File::Security and Win32::Perms to no avail (really) this is what I have finally tried, and still did not work. Can someone tell what am I doing wrong please.
use Win32::Perms; my $dir = new Win32::Perms('c:/temp') || return 0; $dir -> Remove('Everyone');

    Use Cacls instead or insert $dir->Set(); after the last line.
