Something that I've found helpful in working on group CGI projects is including in the POD all database tables and files read from, written to, created, etc. That way if something is getting changed and you don't know what's doing it, it's easier to track down, or if a change is made to the name and/or location of something, it's easier to find all the scripts that need to be updated.
