The Year in scripting languages

I just saw this on slashdot. It is basically a light synopsis of things that have happened in the last year for perl and a few other scripting languages. Its quick read and nice to see what the rest of the world is up to and what they thing perl is up to.

Thanks
Josh

The most interesting part for me was the information about lua.

This looks like it could be a VERY useful "tiny" language to put inside applications.

That's one role that perl has pretty well "outgrown" for me. Perl's great, but "tiny" it ain't. :)
