== plug for perl china ==

Here is the Chinese Perl Mongers website. It is not a local PM (PMs yet) and it's a place for chinese Perl users to meet, advocate Perl, learn from each other.

We aim to advocate Perl in China by translating documents/articles, help out users through web forum. so far the focus is on translating perl doc/articles.

I hope, someday, we will be able to invite some of the big NAMEs to attend YAPC::China :)

we have translated few articles from Perl.com and a wiki site dedicated to this project. some of the titles we have done are:

When will Perl 6 ever get done?
interview with Allison
Web Basics with LWP
Perl Command-Line Options
An Interview with Allison Randal
The Importance of Perl

If you have some cool articles to recommend, please let me know.

Also, if you are chinese and willing to help out the translation project, contact me.

my email: (shijialee at gmail dot com).
