Not an april fool's joke

A couple of days ago, the Debian ftpmasters announced that perl is getting it's own section. The announcement is here:
http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2003/debian-devel-announce-200303/msg00028.html
This is fairly signfigant for a few reasons. The first of which is that perl mods are loosely spread up between "libs" and "interpreters", neither of which really explain the ubiquitous nature of their function. This will make it a lot easier to find perl packages in the archives, plus it clears the relative clutter that was in interpreters.

Python gets its own section too!!

No Ruby though. It appears we're down to the finals!
