Somewhere in the Monastery I saw a node where you can request root node edit or delete from the Nefarious Documentation Clan.   Or is that something different from Front Page edit?

I think what you mean is Editor Requests.

Since my change is really in the way of content, not and editorial one, (I realized that a code snippet I posted made me look really lame because it was out of context) I would feel bad posting the request for change to the editorial page.
