Man, I'm glad you can keep such a good attitude about the post. I know I was really pissed when I saw it, but maybe I just get carried away too much. I've had very irritating experiences reading /., chatting on irc, playing qw (with cheaters on the server), etc, and I just don't want that kind of stuff to come over to perlmonks. Ever since this site went up I've felt as if it where a haven. Not really underground but a strong community center. I just don't want to see it spoiled. At any rate, congratulations on the attitude! I'm going to shut-up now. :o)

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
