I think everybody knows how much adavnced is UNIX over NT, considering security, speed and reliability.
But still, there is people out there who refuse to use UNIX and stick to NT. I have Windows 98 installed in my computer and I use ActivePerl, I never had a problem testing my scripts in the computer, until the other day I tested one that used flock() and I got an error: flock() unimplemented on this platform So I have a question in my mind: Does this mean that if something runs on my machine is able to run both in UNIX and NT? Is there a way to know what runs on NT? Greetings In reply to NT vs UNIX by kidd
