Dear Monks, I am tring to run a SOAP example that was working a couple of years ago in perl 5.8

Now I have perl

This is perl 5, version 12, subversion 4 (v5.12.4) built for MSWin32-x86-multi-thread

#!perl -w use SOAP::Transport::HTTP; SOAP::Transport::HTTP::CGI -> dispatch_to('Temperatures') -> handle; package Temperatures; sub f2c { my ($class, $f) = @_; return 5 / 9 * ($f - 32); } sub c2f { my ($class, $c) = @_; return 32 + $c * 9 / 5; }

But I am getting the follwoing error:

Process started >>>
Can't locate Class/ in @INC (@INC contains: C:/Perl/site/lib C:/Perl/lib .) at C:/Perl/site/lib/SOAP/ line 435.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at C:/Perl/site/lib/SOAP/ line 435.
Compilation failed in require at C:/Perl/site/lib/SOAP/Transport/ line 17.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at C:/Perl/site/lib/SOAP/Transport/ line 17.
Compilation failed in require at F:\PerlSOAP\ line 3.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at F:\PerlSOAP\ line 3.
<<< Process finished.

Can some one help me resolve this error. Thank you.

Use:  <p> text here (a paragraph) </p>
and:  <code> code here </code>
to format your post; it's "PerlMonks-approved HTML":

  • Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.
  • Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
    <code> <a> <b> <big> <blockquote> <br /> <dd> <dl> <dt> <em> <font> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <hr /> <i> <li> <nbsp> <ol> <p> <small> <strike> <strong> <table> <td> <th> <tr> <tt> <u> <ul>
  • Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
