I understand this to be caused by a mismatch between DBI and DBD::Oracle versions—if one was upgraded more recently than the other, bringing the other one up to speed should make the spurious warning go away. Alternatively, though, you can set the PrintWarn attribute of either the DBH or the STH to a false value, which will suppress printing of that (and every other!) warning. If God had meant us to fly, he would *never* have given us the railroads. --Michael Flanders
