Does your OS support a logging facility called system (not to be confused with syslog)? If so, is it being logged where you think it is being logged (check /etc/syslog.conf)? The intelligent reader will judge for himself. Without examining the facts fully and fairly, there is no way of knowing whether vox populi is really vox dei, or merely vox asinorum. — Cyrus H. Gordon
