Though dropping a tug on someone may break their kneecaps (and several other bones) - I fail to see how it would be capable of doing the latter two.

    I've been using (La)TeX1 for quite a few years now and I had no incident of sort nor did I cause any to others. That I know of. Well, not by means of TeX or TUGs, that is...
